From December 2022, ChatGPT has dominated the internet. Dating apps started using the service to compose messages to matches very quickly, so it's no wonder they're joining the trend.
OkCupid is testing ChatGPT matching questions. ChatGPT's response to Michael Kaye, the app's global head of communications, was:
Introvert or extrovert?
Morning or night?
What's your ideal weekend?
What's your ideal partner?
How do you decide when to commit?
How do you balance your partner's requirements with yours?

More respondents were introverts, night owls, and weekend homebodies. About half of respondents regard trust most in a partner and trust their gut to take their relationship further. Communicating, scheduling, and spending time alone help couples manage their demands.
"Daters who think ChatGPT is a life saver obtain over 40% more Matches on OkCupid than those who think it's too big brother," Kaye told Mashable. "The chatbot from OpenAI wrote half a dozen questions for us—about everything from what you value most in a mate to how you might balance your personal needs with a partner in a relationship—and daters are liking these new inquiries."
Gen Z has answered almost 125,000 inquiries. 31% of Gen Z OkCupid daters don't think utilizing AI to construct a profile or message others violates trust.
Still, 52 percent of OkCupid users find AI on profile photographs a turn-off, while six percent find it appealing and 43 percent are unsure. 47% of users weren't sure whether they'd date someone who used an AI-based bot beforehand. Thirty-four percent would end the relationship, while 18 percent would.
ChatGPT has changed how some singles date in months. AI may change dating.
